About me

My name is Samiyah Nasir, pronounced (Sa-Me-Ah   Na-Seer), I believe I would be an asset for your team because I am a natural-born leader and easy to get along with. I value every step of my education so that I can pursue my dream of graduating from college and becoming a dermatologist. I pride myself on being disciplined on both the court and in the classroom. I am coachable, focused, and determined. 

What makes me coachable is my ability to take feedback and apply changes immediately. I am able to maintain a positive attitude through necessary constructive criticism and pressure from coaches. 

I am focused because I am capable of tuning out any distractions when a task is at hand. I have developed organizational skills, such as a simple routine to help reduce stress which allows me to keep my mind clear and open. In addition, I take notes on any instructions or discussions that I receive from my coaches and/or trainer.

Lastly, I am determined because I strive to be successful in all that I do in life. I work really hard on being a team player that is able to get the most out of my teammates as well as myself. My determination and drive have helped me to be successful on every team I have played on. I am looking forward to being an asset to your team as well.
